Welcome to Cultivate Community Foundation: Meet the Vision Behind the Mission

We’re excited to officially welcome you to the new Cultivate Community Foundation website — a space created to connect individuals, families, and communities with mental health education, wellness resources, prevention, and meaningful support.

Cultivate Community Foundation was created from the belief that support should not begin only when someone reaches a crisis. Sometimes the first step is simply having access to trustworthy information, a supportive conversation, a community resource, or guidance on where to turn next.

At the heart of that vision is our founder, Keisha Bedell, M.Ed., LPCC. Keisha is a clinician and community advocate who has dedicated her career to meeting people where they are. Through her work in the mental health field, she recognized that even effective clinical treatment cannot reach everyone who needs support. Some individuals may face barriers related to cost or insurance. Others may not be ready to begin therapy and may simply need education, connection, trusted resources, or guidance before taking that next step. That realization helped inspire Cultivate Community Foundation.

Keisha believes everyone deserves access to support, resources, and opportunities regardless of where they are in their journey. Her compassionate, people-centered approach is focused on creating spaces where individuals and families can feel supported, empowered, and equipped to thrive.

Through Cultivate Community Foundation, that vision extends beyond traditional clinical settings and into the communities we serve. Our mission is to expand access, reduce stigma, and cultivate well-being in every community we serve through mental health education, prevention, outreach, wellness programming, resources, and community partnerships.

This new website is another step in that journey. Here, you’ll be able to learn more about our mission, meet our leadership, discover programs and resources, explore ways to get involved, and stay connected to the work we are building together.

As we begin this next chapter, one message remains at the center of everything we do:
